my icelandic wool sweater is one of my most prized possessions, I've had it for over a decade and pull it on whenever i want to feel close to home. my amma has fixed it many times and it has stains and stretches from the years. i especially like to wear it around christmas, it's a special time in iceland, with slippers in the window, rice pudding on the stove and jolabjor in the cup.
we wanted to make something that shares that feeling with you all for this holiday season, so we present the first ever jólapeysa. the colours are inspired by the northern lights, though I've never seen them with my own eyes, i think about them often.
sweater details: for the siglo OGs, this is a similar shirt we did before we went to iceland, sizes run a bit larger than typical, and you want to follow the care directions.
Our Unisex Midweight Pigment Dyed Crew has individual and unique vintage character we accomplish during our full garment dying process. Made with ultra soft cotton/polyester blend fleece in an assortment of amazing colors, these garments are as comfortable as they are eye catching. We use premium ring-spun cotton to achieve a smooth and stable fabric surface for printing. Completed with our quality construction, and 1x1 ribbing at cuffs and waistband in a standard unisex fit.

- Care Instructions: Due to the nature of pigment dye, loose pigments may remain on the surface of the garments. We therefore strongly recommend washing these garments only with like-colored garments, as some of the pigment dyes may stain light or white colored garments in the wash cycle.
